Silent Hill Origins

Silent Hill: Origins (also known as Silent Hill Zero) is a survival horror game set in the Silent Hill universe. The player controls Travis Grady, a truck driver who gets trapped in the foggy town of Silent Hill. Gameplay features third-person exploration, resource management, combat against monsters, and puzzle-solving in foggy environments. The story reveals the origins of the town's supernatural evil through Travis's repressed memories and encounters with characters like Dahlia Gillespie and Dr. Michael Kaufmann. What makes it stand out is being the first Silent Hill title developed outside the original Team Silent, with a focused story that ties into the series' lore and atmospheric horror. The PSP version emphasizes portability with detailed visuals and sound design by Akira Yamaoka.
