About the Game
Slide Adventure - Mag Kid is an action-adventure game released exclusively in Japan. Players control Mag Kid, a sentient magnet boy who was brought to life by a lightning storm. The boy Malcolm has lost his toys, and Mag Kid must navigate the house to find and reassemble the missing parts of a toy robot in the story mode. The Slide Controller attached to the DS Slot-2 allows physical sliding of the device to move Mag Kid intuitively like a mouse. Mag Kid can attach to enemies to absorb their powers and form snake-like chains to solve puzzles and battle bosses. There are single-player story, mini-games, and multiplayer modes. It stands out for its unique peripheral input, wacky house exploration, and elemental power system.
