About the Game
Spirou is a 2D platformer for Game Gear (prototype) based on the Spirou et Fantasio comic series. Gameplay features Spirou walking, running, jumping, and ducking; diving and sliding along the ground; swimming underwater; and using the Micropulser weapon. The story follows Spirou rescuing Count Champignac from the evil robot Cyanida while Fantasio gathers intelligence. Players navigate eight levels with exploration, collect 50 Spirou hats for extra lives, and manage a health bar with oxygen bottles. Three difficulty levels are available with a single password system.
