Streets Of Rage 2

Streets of Rage 2 is a side-scrolling beat 'em up for the Sega Master System, sequel to the 1991 original. One year after defeating Mr. X, the Syndicate's leader, the heroes Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and Skate (Eddie Hunter, Adam's brother) return to stop a new wave of Syndicate thugs. Gameplay involves side-scrolling street fights where players use melee combos, throwable weapons, and power-ups to clear enemies. The Master System version includes single-player campaign and supports up to two players in local combat. It stands out for its updated engine, diverse character movesets (Axel, Blaze, Max Thunder, Skate), and improved combat fluidity compared to the first game, delivering fast-paced arcade action on the constrained hardware.
