The Last Story

Saigo no Yakusoku no Monogatari (The Final Promise Story) is a role-playing game developed by Imageepoch for the PSP. The story follows Wolf of the Golden Knight Order and Princess Sheryl as they battle the invading steel forces of the industrial nation of Sabuchi Shandia in the magical kingdom of Yugodora. Players manage a party of companions, using an enemy hatred system for strategic targeting and a permanent SP resource that can lead to character death if depleted. Dynamic growth through battles, soul-devouring golden weapons, and bond-forming missions create branching paths and major magic to alter the kingdom's fate. It stands out for its soul-resource risk, deep party bonding, and unique narrative branches.
