Turok 3 - Shadow of Oblivion

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion for Game Boy Color is a side-scrolling action-shooter ported from the N64 original but with an independent storyline. Gameplay features top-down and side-scrolling levels where players control Turok using a variety of weapons (blade launcher, bow, knife, missile launcher, particle accelerator, pistol, plasma rifle, shotgun, Uzi) to wipe out waves of enemies like Dinosoids, Endtrails, and bosses. Some levels require finding keys to progress, while others involve vehicles to destroy structures. There are five missions across environments like jungles and Lost Land, with password save for progress. Story involves Turok allying with peaceful Dinosoids to stop a rebel Dinosoid sect from reawakening an ancient war against the Solidarity Order, with characters including Hellis'Sin (new bloodking), Gant, and Joshua Fireseed. It stands out for its old-school design, smooth animations, responsive controls, vehicular sections, and variety of environments, though short in length (completable in about 1 hour).
