About the Game
Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter is a fighting game inspired by Street Fighter II, featuring one-on-one matches where you deplete the opponent's health bar to win rounds. The first to win two rounds takes the match. Basic attacks include light, medium, and heavy strikes, with special moves executed via directional inputs on the D-pad and buttons. The Synchro Gauge builds a super meter for devastating Super Special Attacks. There are six playable characters divided into Hunters (Blaze, Reinhardt, Emily) and Darkness Clan (Cronos, Wurzel, Nightmare), plus the final boss Katatonia. Story mode lets you fight the other five fighters (with a hidden character possible), then the boss. Other modes include local two-player versus, survival, and training. It was the first new fighting game for SNES in 21 years.
