About the Game
A turn-based strategy/RPG game for Famicom/NES adapted from the classic Chinese novel Shuihu Zhuan. Players control Liangshan heroes like Song Jiang, Wu Song, or Lin Chong in tactical battles, recruitment missions, and side quests against bandits, officials, and landlords. Features pixel art, classic chiptune sound effects, and management mechanics such as team building, resource collection, and boss fights. Standout elements include authentic water-margin folklore, saving progress via battery save, and replayability through different hero selections and quest order.
