About the Game

Bomber Raid is a vertically scrolling shooter where the player controls a Freedom Fighter aircraft across five levels. It features twin cannons, cluster bombs that clear many enemies (except bosses), power-ups for weapons (P), speed (S), and temporary backup fighter planes in different formations, plus an enemy disk that drops power-ups. Combat involves dogfights against enemy aircraft, tanks, and helicopters with three starting lives and limited cluster bombs; collisions with enemies or fire cost lives. No named characters, but the pilot is the central figure. What makes it stand out is its balance, intense screen-clearing action, and last licensed game for the Sega Master System.
