Centipede - Infestation

Centipede - Infestation is a run and gun shooter set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland overrun by giant mutated insects. Gameplay features a top-down view where players control Max the Bug Slayer, using eight-way firing controls to shoot bugs while collecting power-ups like bombs and shields. Key enemies include centipedes, spiders, beetles, wasps, and the Alpha Centipede known as Soot. The story follows Max and Maisy Chambers, who team up to protect Maisy's garden and uncover pasts involving lost family members and a mysterious locket found near Soot's lair. It stands out as a modernized arcade remake with touch-screen power-up activation on 3DS, co-op support, multiple difficulty levels, and a fast-paced action focused on survival against escalating bug infestations.
