Kid Icarus - Uprising

Kid Icarus: Uprising is a third-person rail shooter on Nintendo 3DS where angel Pit serves Goddess Palutena against the Goddess of Darkness Medusa, then faces Hades, Viridi, the Aurum invaders and the Chaos Kin. Gameplay mixes aerial on-rails shooting with ground-based third-person action: Pit uses nine weapons (bow, claws, blades, clubs, orbitars, staff, arms, palms, cannon) with unique stats for range, damage and fire rate, battling via pistols and melee in free-roaming stages and bosses. Story involves Pit defeating Medusa's forces, retrieving the Three Sacred Treasures, battling Dark Pit, repossessing his body, confronting possessed Palutena, and ultimately destroying Hades with a new Great Sacred Treasure after trials and sacrifices.
