About the Game
Choujikuu Yousai Macross - Scrambled Valkyrie is a horizontal-scrolling shoot 'em up for the Super Famicom. Players pilot transforming Variable Fighters (VF-1 Valkyrie) in Fighter, GERWALK, or Battroid modes, switching weapons and abilities accordingly. Choose from three pilots: Hikaru Ichijyo, Maximilian Jenius, or Milia Fallyna Jenius. Destroy waves of Zentradi and other enemies while collecting power-ups to upgrade weapons. The story follows the Macross defense against alien invasion. What makes it stand out is the deep mode-switching mechanics, pilot-specific loadouts for replayability, and intense Macross anime music.
