About the Game
Super E.D.F. is a horizontally scrolling shooter for the SNES where you pilot the XA-1 fighter ship of the Earth Defense Force (EDF) to repel an invasion by the Azyma Empire. Gameplay involves shooting waves of enemy ships, planets, and bosses while using shield points to absorb hits and limited continues. Select from eight weapon loadouts with selectable guns and drone support. Experience points from kills upgrade weapons and improve drone performance for better firepower and defense. Story follows the EDF's fight against the Azyma Empire's forces, including their secret base on the dark side of the Moon aimed at destroying Earth.
