About the Game
Columns III: Revenge of Columns is a competitive two-player puzzle game where players match three or more jewels horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to clear the well and control the opponent's crush bar. Players can use special Magic Jewels for powerful attacks and items that hinder opponents, plus crush bar attacks after clearing ten jewels. The single-player story mode takes players through a pyramid filled with progressively difficult AI opponents like spiders, bats, and mummies across multiple rooms and best-of-three matches. It retains the core mechanics of the original Columns series but adds special moves and attacks to focus on defeating opponents through chains and interference. Game modes include single-player with AI opponents and multiplayer versus. It stands out with its intense competitive multiplayer and Egypt-themed pyramid adventure setting.
