About the Game
Cosmo Gang - The Video is a fixed shooter where players control the Hyper Beat starship to rid the galaxy of the mischievous Cosmo Gang aliens. Gameplay involves scrolling vertically through 32 stages, shooting enemies as they form formations, avoiding dive-bomb projectiles, and collecting power-ups like shields, bombs, black holes, stun jack-in-the-boxes, or extra lives. Multiplayer mode supports two players sharing lives, with the second player positioned above the first, and features unique power-ups such as position swapping. Story follows the cosmic adventure to defeat the Cosmo Gang and save Earth. Standout characters include the yellow Hyper Beat ship for player 1 and white for player 2, plus the cute alien Cosmo Gang enemies and final boss Don Cosmo.
