About the Game
Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth is a rail shooter co-developed by Treasure and Nintendo R&D1 for Nintendo 64, published by Nintendo in Japan in 2000. Players control Saki Amamiya or Airan Jo of the Savior Group fighting Ruffians—mutant creatures threatening global food supply—in fast-scrolling stages with auto camera switching. The unique controller mechanics combine D-pad/C-button movement, stick aiming, Z-trigger shooting, rolling dodges, and jump attacks for dynamic combat. Multiplayer supports up to 2 players with 8 stages. The story follows humanity's response to engineered organisms turning on creators amid Peacekeepers and Armed Volunteers conflicts.
