About the Game
Dr. Mario is a falling block puzzle game for NES where players control Dr. Mario in a virus outbreak at the Mushroom Kingdom Hospital. Tri-colored viruses flood the screen; players use matching colored vitamin capsules thrown by Dr. Mario to align them, destroying viruses on contact. Clearing one level progresses to the next with increasing difficulty. Objectives involve neutralizing all viruses without letting them fill the bottle. Features single-player mode with varying levels and a two-player versus option. Dr. Mario's inventive approach and teamwork with Nurse Toadstool make the viral outbreak fun.
