Elevator Action EX

This 2000 Game Boy Color game by Altron is a platform/shooter update of the classic Elevator Action. Players choose one of three characters—Mike (balanced), Guy (slow but tough), or Sarah (fast but fragile)—and progress through four stages, each with four buildings. Gameplay involves side-view platforming, shooting enemies, and climbing ladders while evading patrols in spy missions. After completing the game, a password unlocks the boss character D.D. Fox (a female spy), who fights Mike in the finale. The game is single-player only. What makes it stand out is the character selection with distinct speed/health trade-offs, intense multi-building espionage action, and the fun password system for replayability on a color handheld.
