About the Game
ESPN Speed World is a NASCAR-style stock car racing game for the Sega Genesis platform. Players drive Winston Cup cars around oval tracks, road courses, and superspeedways based on 1990s circuits at speeds up to 200 mph. The objective is to finish first in races that include an interactive pit crew and real mid-1990s ESPN announcers. Game modes are single-player and multiplayer with car color and style customization. It stands out by simulating cable TV racing broadcasts through the announcers and TV-show inspired title screen.
