About the Game
Game Boy Wars is a turn-based strategy game for Game Boy where players command Red Star or White Moon armies on hexagonal maps. Players control a limited number of units to capture enemy cities, factories, airports, and harbors or destroy opposing forces. Gameplay features movement, attacks, and special actions with fog of war and limited visibility. Single-player versus CPU or versus multiplayer modes are available. Characters are generic army commanders with no named individuals. It stands out as the pioneering entry in the Wars series with basic tactical military combat and 36 initial maps.
