About the Game

Gauntlet Legends is a 3D hack-and-slash action RPG for the Nintendo 64. Players choose from four heroes: the Warrior, Valkyrie, Wizard, or Archer to battle the demon Skorne, who was summoned by Sumner’s evil brother Garm. In six realms connected by obelisks, players use runestones to unlock portals, collect treasure, and fight hordes of monsters in labyrinthine levels. Levels feature looping paths, traps, and summoners that must be freed to access more areas. Single-player campaigns and multiplayer support up to four players. What stands out is the seamless 3D graphics, RPG progression with level-ups up to 99, and return to the classic Gauntlet formula with expanded realms and new enemy types.
