Gremlin 2 - Shinshu Tanjou

Gremlin 2: Shinshu Tanjou (also known as Gremlins 2: The New Batch) is an action platformer developed and published by Sunsoft for the NES. You control the cute mogwai Gizmo as he navigates 5 levels (each with 2-3 sub-stages) inside the high-tech Clamp Center building, battling a new batch of gremlins spawned from accidental water exposure. Gameplay involves overhead platforming with jumping on moving platforms and conveyor belts, using collected items like a bow-and-arrow or matchstick launcher to destroy gremlins, spiders, and other hazards. You reach the Gremlin Control Center to wipe them out; weapons upgrade after stages and include boss fights against gremlin variants led by Mohawk in different forms. It faithfully adapts the 1990 movie plot, with Gizmo's quirky mutations and Billy's cameo appearances making the licensed tie-in memorable and challenging.
