About the Game
H.E.R.O. (Helicopter Emergency Rescue Operation) is a side-scrolling action game where players control Roderick Hero, a rescue worker equipped with a helicopter backpack. The objective is to navigate through dangerous mine shafts filled with cave-ins, lava, and hostile creatures to rescue trapped miners within a time limit. Players use dynamite to blast through walls, a helmet-mounted laser to defeat enemies, and must carefully manage limited power reserves. The game features increasingly challenging levels with narrow passages and environmental hazards that require precise timing and resource management.
