About the Game
Strider on the Sega Master System is a side-scrolling action platformer featuring the futuristic ninja Hiryu as he battles through enemy forces. Players slash through opponents with Hiryu's signature plasma sword called Cypher while navigating challenging platforming sections. The game adapts the arcade original with modified level design and different enemy patterns suited to the 8-bit hardware. While it differs significantly from the arcade version, it maintains the core fast-paced action and acrobatic movement that defined the franchise.
