About the Game
Harvest Moon (SNES/Super Famicom) is a farming life-simulation RPG where you inherit and restore your neglected grandfather's ranch. You plant and tend crops (cabbages, potatoes, tomatoes, etc.) across four seasons, raise chickens (up to 12, laying eggs daily with care) and cows (up to 12, yielding milk), fish, forage, and visit the nearby town of Mineral Town. Romance one of the five bachelorettes—Maria (blue-haired lady), Popuri (bubbly poultry farmer), Ellen (careful animal-lover), Ann (tomboy mechanic), or Eve (free-spirited barmaid)—by giving gifts, chatting, and attending festivals to raise affection and marry. The open-ended gameplay lets you complete tasks in any order over 2.5 years (30-day seasons), with the goal of a thriving farm, town integration, and personal happiness.
