About the Game

The Blue Crystal Rod is an adventure game and the fourth and final mainline title in the Babylonian Castle Saga / Tower of Druaga series. After defeating the demon Druaga, Gilgamesh and his companion Ki must return the stolen Blue Crystal Rod to heaven to restore peace to the world. The game features a branching storyline with exactly 48 endings, ranging from a happy fairy-tale resolution to the apocalypse, depending on the player's choices and hidden stat checks (power, wisdom, luck, etc.) for Gil. Players explore diverse locations including deserts, forests, mountains, labyrinths, caves, and the Sumer Empire, performing actions to convince the gods of humanity's worth. It stands out for its shift from previous action-platformer formats to a story-driven narrative adventure with multiple unique endings and deep RPG-like stat management.
