About the Game
Millipede is a fixed shooter where players control an archer defending a mushroom forest from advancing insects. Gameplay is vertical scrolling: shoot segments of millipedes and other bugs (spiders, fleas, butterflies) that descend and split upon hits. Multiple game modes including harder B mode; 1-2 player alternating turns. Story involves the archer protecting the forest from gigantic insect monsters using magic arrows. No story characters beyond the player. What makes it stand out is its wave-based progression, destructible environments, and intense difficulty spike in B mode.
