About the Game
In Jim Power - The Lost Dimension in 3D, you play as the last special agent Jim Power on a desperate mission to stop alien tyrant Vaprak from conquering Earth. The platformer stages feature side-scrolling action with precise jumping, while shooter sections use Mode 7 overhead views and parallax scrolling for 3D effect. Boss battles and traps challenge your reflexes on SNES hardware. Key characters are Jim Power and the villainous Vaprak, who seeks to open a dimensional vortex. What makes it stand out is its ambitious use of parallax layers, the included 3D glasses, and blending platforming, shooting, and action in one title.
