About the Game
You play as Jay McCray, a determined young man who must avenge his father's murder by terrorist groups while protecting the Silius Solar System colony project. Gameplay is a side-scrolling run-and-gun with platforming elements: control Jay who runs, jumps, crouches, and shoots in straight lines only using weapons that include a handgun, shotgun, machine gun, homing gun, laser rifle, and grenade launcher. The Gun Energy gauge limits special weapons, and players collect energy capsules to restore health and ammo across five distinct stages featuring ruins, underground concourses, enemy hideouts, flying spaceships, and factories, ending in boss battles. Story involves discovering conspiracy details from a floppy disk left by his father, characters center on Jay McCray and the terrorists, what makes it stand out is its futuristic sci-fi aesthetic, dark color palette, responsive controls, and epic soundtrack composed by Naoki Kodaka.
