About the Game

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a 2D action platformer where players control the Creature as he stomps through the streets of Ingolstadt, Bavaria in 1793 seeking revenge on Dr. Victor Frankenstein for his rejection. The Creature battles angry peasants (male with melee weapons, female with pots) and red-uniformed soldiers who fire muskets, while solving simple puzzles with switches and pulleys. The wooden stick can be swung to set enemies on fire, and releasing a button launches a blue ball of negative energy. The game closely follows the 1994 Branagh film plot with minor changes, such as Elizabeth's resurrection as a playable boss fought in the crypt before being set ablaze.
