Master Of Darkness

In Master of Darkness on Sega Master System, play as Dr. Ferdinand Social, a psychologist, in a side-scrolling platformer. The story is set in London where a series of murders are blamed on Count Dracula but are actually performed by Jack the Ripper to resurrect him through rituals. The player battles through five rounds divided into three stages: Thames River, House of Wax, Cemetery leading to Castle Massen, a laboratory in the castle, and a dungeon-like labyrinth in Castle Dracula. Control a character who uses knives, canes, rapiers, axes for close combat, and pistols, bombs, boomerangs for range. Collect items to upgrade stats and defeat bosses including Jack the Ripper, possessed Psychic Girl, Count Massen, and Dracula. The game is a Castlevania-style horror platformer with gothic atmosphere.
