Metroid - Zero Mission

Metroid: Zero Mission is an action-adventure game for Game Boy Advance and a remake of the original 1986 Metroid. The player controls bounty hunter Samus Aran on her mission to the planet Zebes to stop Space Pirates who plan to use replicated Metroids as weapons against the Galactic Federation. Gameplay centers on exploration of interconnected caverns and areas, collecting power-ups and abilities (including a map, new weapons like Plasma Beam, and the option to play as Samus without her Power Suit using a Paralyzer pistol), and defeating Space Pirates while progressing through the story. The player can complete the game linearly or non-linearly via sequence breaking. Story elements include the rewritten origin of Samus's mission, her crash-landing, and a Chozo trial. Characters are primarily Samus Aran and villains like Kraid, Ridley, and Mother Brain.
