About the Game
港都少年 is a turn-based RPG on Sega Mega Drive where players control Roy, a boy from the port town of Johanna who dreams of adventure. After leaving with his uncle's caravan, Roy joins companions Banegie (shrouded knight), Magellan (outcast swordsman), and Floyd (powerful wizard serving the Lord) to battle a group of northern wizards threatening the world. The story follows five scenarios across multiple kingdoms, towns, and landscapes, with romance involving Traysia (Roy's girlfriend) and a tragic climax. Game modes include exploration, battles, and character progression. What makes it stand out is its unique musical score featuring memorable chapter-specific large-map backgrounds, distinctive early 16-bit RPG elements like branching scenarios, and a fantasy romance of love, adventure, and sacrifice.
