About the Game
Moon Crystal is a 2D side-scrolling action platformer developed and published by Hect for the Famicom. Players control Ricky Slater, a young boy whose father is kidnapped by the villainous Count Crimson. Ricky obtains the Moon Crystal, a pendant that grants special powers only during a full moon, to rescue his father and stop the count from using the Unisystem device to revive the dead and conquer the world. Gameplay features platforming challenges, action sequences, and boss fights across six colorful stages with varied enemies and mechanics. The story emphasizes themes of heroism, family, and preventing apocalypse through the crystal's power.
