New Our Sun - Sabata's Counterattack

Shin Bokura no Taiyō: Gyakushū no Sabata is the third entry in the Boktai series, an action RPG for Game Boy Advance where players control Django using the Gun del Sol ranged weapon and swords for combat. Gameplay involves dungeon exploration with light stealth elements like sneaking against walls and using noise to distract enemies. A new Trance Gauge fills during attacks for special abilities, and a Vector Coffin serves as vehicle for fast travel between levels. The story follows Django fighting the vampire Ratatosk who controls the boy Sabata to unleash the ancient beast Vanargand, threatening all life in a solar-system-ending conflict. It stands out for combining action, strategy, and solar-powered mechanics in an isometric 2D perspective, with puzzle and stealth additions from prior games refined in this final GBA installment.
