About the Game

Ninku is an action/RPG hybrid where you play as Fuusuke, the young former captain of the Ninku ninja unit and protagonist of the anime. In side-view fighting battles, you control Fuusuke as he travels the overworld map to fight Imperial Army enemies and solve problems using martial arts. Hiroyuki, Fuusuke's iconic unplayable flatulent penguin pet, tags along and can be controlled in special scenes. Combat uses actual anime-style moves with combo potential and difficulty adjustments; the game follows the original anime story of Fuusuke's quest against the Imperial Army. Standout features include the story-accurate anime adaptation with large sprites, local multiplayer, and RPG progression elements like character stats tied to the series lore.
