About the Game

Pacar is an arcade-style maze game that blends elements of Namco's Pac-Man and Rally-X with Sega's earlier Head On. Players control a green car through winding 3D roads in mazes, collecting red pellets while avoiding a blue car. The car cannot reverse without slowing down, requiring careful forward driving. Larger red pellets turn the car into a Super Car for a few seconds, allowing it to destroy enemy cars on contact and gain combo points. After clearing two mazes, endless rounds repeat with increasing blue cars, creating chaotic rush-hour racing. No named characters, but the realistic car physics, pellet collection, and enemy pursuit make it stand out as a fast, pure arcade experience on the SG-1000.
