Popful Mail

Popful Mail is a 2D action-adventure platform RPG featuring three playable characters: the elf bounty hunter Mail, the timid magician Tatt, and the winged creature Gaw. Players switch between them, each with unique speeds, jumps, attacks (sword for Mail, staff for Tatt, claws/fireballs for Gaw), and weapons like swords, boomerangs, and magic spells. The story follows Mail hunting the escaped criminal Nuts Cracker, who leads her to the wizard Muttonhead and the ancient evil Masters of Evil (Morgal, Necros, Ulgar) sealed long ago. Gameplay includes side-scrolling exploration, platforming, combat with health bars, weapon upgrades, and dialogue-heavy scenes with humorous interactions. It stands out for its witty characters, voice acting in CD versions, and Falcom-style fantasy RPG mechanics blended with action-platforming, including save options and multiple endings paths.
