Prey the Stars

Prey the Stars is an action game where players control four dog-like monsters on a planet similar to Earth. The story follows the monsters' invasion by mysterious forces, with their gluttony helping to revitalize the planet's spirits and preserve the cycle of life. Characters include Gabu (all-rounder, beginner-friendly with bite/lick/suck skills), Bari, Chuchu, and Pero (customizable and insatiable). Gameplay involves eating items via button-mashing on the DS touchscreen and stylus to build stomachs, collect spirits, and score points before time runs out; power-ups and elemental counters add strategy. Modes include story (11 stages, unlocks) and multiplayer (local/Wi-Fi 4-player battles). What stands out is its addictive competitive eating with unique mechanics like perfect timing for boosts and power-ups reminiscent of Mario Kart.
