About the Game
Rad Racer is a racing game for the NES where players drive either a Ferrari 328 or an F-1 racing machine along a winding track. The game features challenging hairpin turns and high-speed sections that test driving precision. It supports a 3D mode activated by pressing Select and wearing anaglyph glasses for stereoscopic viewing. Single-player mode only, with no multiplayer. The game stands out for its pioneering use of 3D graphics on the NES via the Famicom 3D accessory and was designed as a response to Sega's Out Run, featuring music by Nobuo Uematsu.
