Sigma Harmony

Sigma Harmonics is a role-playing game for Nintendo DS set in an alternate Tokyo. Players control Sigma Kurogami, the 17-year-old heir to the Kurogami family of sound-users, and his childhood friend Neon Tsukiyumi, a card-user from the Tsukiyumi clan, as they investigate murders in the Kurogami mansion and use the Great Clock artifact to travel through time and restore the altered history. The story follows Sigma's family legacy of sealing demonic Ouma entities that distort time and reality, with Sigma's song-based abilities directing Neon in combat using summoned spirits and magical seals. Gameplay features side-scrolling exploration, puzzle-solving in mansion rooms, deductive reasoning to uncover clues, and turn-based battles against demons, all while the DS is held sideways for the unique interaction system. What stands out is the blend of murder-mystery adventure with RPG elements, where players pair the protagonists to fix a rewritten past and stop a world-ending catastrophe.
