About the Game

Sonic Blast Man II is a 2D beat 'em up where players fight through levels punching and kicking enemies. Gameplay adds new characters to the original series, two-player co-op, and improved mechanics with more moves and faster pacing. Story is loose and nonsensical: rival Heavy Blast Man teams with alien Yafu to conquer the world. Playable characters are Sonic Blast Man (jack-of-all-stats), Captain Choyear (powerhouse with strong but slow moves), and Sonia (fast and agile). What makes it stand out is the refined brawler combat, expanded roster, and co-op that rivals classics like Streets of Rage.
