About the Game
Space Harrier is a fast-paced third-person rail shooter where you control Harrier, a hero armed with a laser cannon who runs and flies through surreal fantasy landscapes. You battle bizarre creatures including dragons, mushrooms, and alien invaders across 18 stages of colorful, pseudo-3D environments. The game features scaling sprite graphics that create a sense of speed and depth as enemies and obstacles rush toward the screen. Its arcade-style action, distinctive checkerboard ground patterns, and memorable soundtrack made it a landmark title in Sega's library.
