About the Game
Super Bomberman 2 is an action maze party game for SNES where players place bombs to defeat enemies and clear stages. Gameplay follows classic Bomberman rules with bomb placement, blast radius, and block destruction. The story involves the original Bomberman fighting alien cyborgs called the Five Dastardly Bombers who seek him out on Earth, capturing him and forcing him to escape their station. Key characters include the original Bomberman and members of the Five Dastardly Bombers such as Magnet Bomber. It stands out as the first in the series to feature a full single-player story mode with cutscenes, unlike the multiplayer-only focus of earlier entries.
