About the Game
Super Bomberman 5 is an action maze party game for the SNES where players place bombs to destroy monsters, flip switches, and clear stages in nonlinear story mode divided into 5 zones (4 remixed from previous Super Bomberman games plus one all-new zone). The hero White Bomberman (with optional Black Bomberman co-op) teams up with Louie/Rooi companions to battle the Fiendish Bombers and stop the time-manipulating villain Emperor Terrorin on Planet Bomber. 108 stages across worlds with bosses, power-ups (increased bomb count, firepower, speed, remote control, throw/kick bombs, extra hit), and two endings based on choices. Battle mode supports up to 4 players (10 characters including 9 bosses) with customizable arenas, create-a-character mode, and extra maps on the gold cartridge. What makes it stand out is the 100%/200% completion system with password effects, remixed music, and save feature as the final Super Bomberman SNES entry.
