About the Game
Surging Aura (known as 澎湃的电风 or Light Shock) is a real-time action RPG on Mega Drive. Gameplay centers on an innovative magic system where players charge elemental auras in real-time spheres while navigating the world and battles; companions provide protection during charging. The story follows young prince Mhu of Pasphalda: attacked by dark sorcerer Lufede at his kingdom's anniversary ceremony, Mhu awakens in an unknown land after a 'time rabbit' restores him. He teams up with companion Nook to explore realms, retrieve orbs (Liquid, Time, Flame, Air), and defeat bosses like the treasure-thieving Sumibal while dealing with bandits and local threats.
