Ultimate Legion UX

Last Legion UX is a 3D arena-based fighting and shooting game for Nintendo 64 where players pilot human-operated mecha called Legions in one-on-one battles to deplete enemy health. Players select from six (expandable to 12) Legions with varying classes—humanoid for shields, amphibious for water immunity, or floating for flight—each with unique primary weapons (e.g., laser swords, machine guns), sub-weapons (e.g., homing missiles, grenade launchers), and stats in speed, firepower, and jump ability. Battles feature jumping, locking onto opponents, melee strikes, guarding, Powerstone charging for super attacks, and risky grabs to steal Powerstones. Story mode follows Colonel Reddi as he time-travels to ancient times to stop Light Raid terrorists from harnessing a shattered divine star's fragments as Powerstones, confronting officers like Colcott. Multiplayer supports up to two players with split-screen, disabled radars, and unlockable Legions. What stands out is its strategic arena design with hazards (lava, mazes), mecha variety inspired by games like Virtual On, and a time-travel plot involving elemental continents, though it received mixed reviews for graphics and depth.
