About the Game

Aero Fighters is a vertically scrolling shooter where players pilot one of eight unique aircraft from four nations (USA, Japan, Sweden, UK) to stop a global enemy invasion. Select characters represent nations with unique starting weapons and special attacks that evolve during play. Gameplay involves shooting enemies, bosses, and power-ups while avoiding attacks in seven stages across various locations; after the first loop, harder versions of stages unlock. It stands out for its diverse pilots with story backstories, character-specific weapons, co-op multiplayer for one nation only, and high difficulty with unlockable secret modes and fighters.
