Battle Formula

Players control the transforming combat vehicle Battle Formula across six stages, switching between car, boat, and fighter forms while dodging enemy fire and collecting power-ups by destroying enemy trucks. Primary weapon, missile upgrades, cannon targeting, and oil slicks provide escalating firepower. Bosses feature multi-phase attacks and reinforcements. Story: Master racer and delivery driver Jean steals the elite secret weapon Battle Formula from terrorist group X, who aim to destroy the United Nations. Jean enters the cockpit, activates the starter, and unleashes a high-speed escape through desert highways, cities, and water while battling waves of forces. The vehicle’s variable scrolling speed and stage bosses set it apart from standard vertical shooters on NES.
