Dexstar

Ristar is an action-adventure platformer where the titular hero, Ristar the Shooting Star, uses his elastic, stretchy arms to grapple and swing across vast planetary environments in the Valdi System. The story follows Ristar as he journeys through the stars, battling the evil Space Monkey who threatens to conquer the universe with his army of minions. Supporting characters include the mysterious Feel and a quirky cast of planetary inhabitants. What stands out are the groundbreaking stretchy arm mechanics for traversal and combat, innovative level designs that combine platforming with simple puzzles, colorful vibrant graphics, and a lighthearted tone that made it one of the final original games for the Sega Genesis platform.
